Drop Zone Records collect money for Lebanon. The Mastermind man, otherwise known as Loki was collecting for the people of Lebanon at a recent Drop Zone Show, both himself and Project Mayhem got in on the action to help send money to the children effected by the war, the money will go to help children by getting them books, tolietries and Medical supplies. A worthy cauus Im sure you will all agree.

Loki is set to support the American act Pharcyde in Edinburgh at the Bongo club. Anyone who aint seen Loki recently really should get themselves along to this to show their support and witness what has to be one of the best stage shows from a Scottish Artist in a long time! Loki will be performing music from his two future releases coming from Drop Zone Records both off his album and EP.

Tommy Sheridan to feature on Eastborn's new Album...

We at Drop Zone Records are more than proud of our local community and Glasgow as a whole. Despite what some political parties say about our Eastborn - what with the ASBO and connections to gangs and drugs fuelled by poor journalism by the tabliods, well we at Drop Zone stepped out to futher put all that nonsense to rest by teaming up with Show Racism The Red Card to bring you the "Drop Zone Trophy". In its first year it was always going to be a test and with NO SUPPORT OR BACKING FROM THE LOCAL NEWSPAPERS Drop Zone Records steamed ahead to create an event for the local asylum seekers and mixed community. We would all like to congratulate URBAN SCOT for winning the Tournament and taking home the coveted trophy. We hope that this will grow into a yearly event and that we can continue to support our local community, who knows...maybe the local medi might even help next time! We want to also thank Shawlands Academy for their efforts and support and of course everyone who turned up. Eastborn reaped alot of praise after his performances in Australia's East Coast with Brass of Celcius and Sereck of Def Wish Cast fame aswell as many more. Eastborn and Drop Zone Records have nothing but love for the Australian scene and Brass in particular, as well as Brisbane Beatsmith Butcha!!!
