Eastborn pins his flag to the mast with Tommy Sheridan ...

Eastborn will perform for Solidarity this Sunday to perform and show his support for the new SSP under Tommy Sheridan. Solidarity is just a working title at the moment, after a party ballot the real title will be revealed. Tommy Sheidan has always shown his support to Eastborn and helped when Eastborn was threatened with an ASBO.

EASTBORN will also appear on the new Solidarity website aswell as throughout thier mailouts and newspaper as a thankyou to Eastborn for all his support. Drop Zone Records would like to thank Tommy for all the help he has put in at Parliment level and interveined when other parties had sought to badmouth Eastborn in several tabloid papers.

Drop Zone Records have completed the line up for 2006 with possibly the best crew to come out of Edinburgh, Scotland Yard ... Jinx & Seanie Bee have put pen to paper for a one year deal with Drop Zone Records to work alongside Scotlands other biggest artists, Loki and Eastborn, this couples with the talents of Mantis Chapter and Dark Craftsmen, Scotland Yard will be pushed to higher heights and tour further a field. Drop Zone Records just loaded another clip!!

Eastborn has recently completed his tour of the USA, Canada and Australia

Eastborn has recently completed his tour of the USA, Canada and Australia, firmly putting his stamp on the claim to Scotland and the North of England's most successfull recording and Touring artist in Hip Hop. Shows in New York (with J-Love of Jay Z and Wu Tang Fame, Rack-Lo, Mayhem Lauren, Sav Lo), shows in Canada with Swollen Members and a massive Tour of Australia touching down in Sydney, Melbourne,Cambera, Katoomba and Brisbane. Most of the Tour Eastborn was headlining, apart from the show in Melbourne with Atmosphere and Brother Ali. Eastborn also played with Delta, Brass of Celsius and more. Collabs with the above artists are already in the making.

Mantis Chapter, Loki and Project Mayhem rocked the Eastern Haze Festival

Mantis Chapter, Loki and Project Mayhem rocked the Eastern Haze Festival earlier this month, along with Blade, Phi Life Cipher and other BIG UK Hip Hop names. The Drop Zone artists more than heard thier own and by all accounts were loved by all! Bookings are being taken before these guys debut Drop Zone Release...so get intouch!

Two new releases out on Drop Zone Records

Drop Zone Records have a double release in the Month of May. In true Drop Zone style for MAYDAY we will bring you Drop Zone Records NEW SIGNING The Mantis Chapter, with their stunning new EP "Sacrificial Offerings" which features the lyrical combat skills of Tekneek (Dark Craftsmen) and Eastborn as well as Britcore legend Geta (Killa Instinct). This EP will be out on CD and vinyl, so keep your eyes on the store on this site on the 1rst of May as only this site will be selling them at a reduced rate to the Drop Zone faithful.

On top of this we have teamed up with Aberdeen's finest "Granite Emcees" to push the "Forever and a Day EP" which features Eastborn and Verse One. This too will be out on the 1rst of May, keep those eyes on this site!

EASTBORN AND PSYCHO D on Tour in USA, CANADA AND AUSTRALIA

That's right people, Eastborn is well known for firsts and spreading the word of Drop Zone Records and Scottish Hip Hop around the globe, well again EASTBORN will be the FIRST to play Australia and Canada and he returns to New York to play another show! This New York Show will be with New York Legend Rack- Lo of the Camp Lo Fam. Canadian shows are still in the making with Vancouver Dates already confirmed and the Australian dates growing day by day! Loki signs to Drop Zone Records

Third time seems to be the best way to put this. After Drop Zone have been on the heals of the Scottish loudmouth rapper and BBC presenter. Now Loki has signed a years deal to Drop Zone Records where he is expected to release and album and two EP's, so keep on the case of this one and await Loki's arrival in the UK Hip Hop scene in a big way!

Project Mayhem sign to Drop Zone

Boomstick who has recently returned from battle against some of London's finest Forgien Beggars, Middlesborough native Boomstick has signed to Drop Zone records along with his DJ producer ReDragon. Drop Zone have signed them for an LP and two EP's which will see appearances from Blunted, Mowgli and many more. to see Versatile (Project Mayhems DJ) check out City Screen Basement (York) on the 31rst May.
