Mantis Chapter

The Mantis Chapter, comprising of lyricist TS One and producer ACAS13, were formed in the early 90's. This meeting of minds resulted in a musical onslaught that was dark and mystical, very much influenced by the Britcore style of the times. The Mantis Sound evolved and developed over the years resulting in live sets, underground tapes and collaborations with both up-and-coming and established artists.

The wilderness years saw The Chapter almost silent. Other than the odd remix or featured vocal duty, nothing was heard; but this silence could not last forever. The creative need to concoct mystical, lyrical incantations and dark, musical sound-scapes was too much to contain and The Mantis Chapter was destined to rise again.

Drop Zone Records have signed The Mantis Chapter to bring you the "Sacrificial Offerings EP", a creation that traces its roots from those early days in "The Chapter's" history, yet can stand alongside today's releases. Aided in their journey by Tekneek (The Dark Craftsman- Drop Zone Records), Eastborn (Drop Zone Records) and Old Skool UK legend Geta (Killa Instinct) this instalment marks the first chapter in a new beginning, a new dawn. Let the sacrifice begin!
