I don’t like writing my own biography, I don’t know what brogue means and I’ve never heard an elastic band snapping a paperclip into the dark. If you want to hear my story just listen to my music. All I can say is that my passion has always been for writing. Healthy expressions of dysfunctional, chronically sarcastic madness, short stories, then poetry, then bang! Hip Hop found me. And through Hip Hop I found creative freedom. Anything goes, I can say what I want and you can love or loath it. I’m still educating myself on the young yet rich history of Hip Hop as an art form and fully developed culture, a religion, my lifestyle.

I despise musical snobbery in all its manifestations and see it as a disease to self expression. I listen to everything I feel is real at that moment, from Aesop to Slim, Kanye to Kool Keith, Two Tone Committee to Pink Floyd.

Sometimes I feel the need to apologise for being born in the 80’s, before MTV brainwashed a generation of revolutionaries. Saying I have no right to represent or I am somehow unauthentic because I don’t have an extensive vinyl collection is like telling a Glasgow bin man that he cant watch the World Cup Finals because he doesn’t have Sky Television.
