
Bright Sparks Aka DC_Clements, born 1984 in Glasgow,UK. Growning up in "Penilee" a scheme South West of Glasgow, DC had always had a love for music. He took it apon himself to further his knowledge in the music industry by studying several music courses at college.
During his time at collge DC hooked up with Glasgow hip hop crew "Home Grown Pham" during his years with the crew they played shows over Scotland receiving much love & respect for their style and live performances. HGP supported acts such as Ugly Duckling, DJ Format & Abdominal, FYA & BBC 1xtra DJ's aswell as coming runners up in the Nokia Urban Music Festival Glasgow Heat.
HGP have also had airplay on stations like BBC Radio 1, Radiomagnetic, F.P.R, HHB & others, however in 2005 HGP came to an end due to personal reasons within the crews members.
DC has always been making solo music aswell and was part of the 2003/2004 "Trialect" showcase which highlighted some of Scotland best new vocalists, it was with this event that DC met "The Thistle Crew" a hip hop group from Ayr, along with another MC from Glasgow called "MOG" they all came together to make an undergound collective called "Bolder Scotia" who's music also has been accepted for it upfront style.
Bright Sparks now join the Drop Zone Records roster, a roster that is already growing in strength and stature as the days go by, and Bright Sparks is an important part of that.
